As the Sales Manager at The Lakhani Group, you will lead the charge in cultivating corporate accounts, expanding embassy relationships, developing tourism and corporate partnerships.
Duties and responsibilities:
Corporate Account Management:
Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate accounts, ensuring their needs are met and surpassed;
Develop and implement strategies to increase corporate account revenue and loyalty;
Embassy Account Development:
Proactively engage with embassy representatives to establish and strengthen partnerships;
Collaborate with diplomatic entities to enhance the hotel’s standing as the preferred choice for embassy-related stays and events;
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for engaging with the tourism sector;
Be in contact with tourism operators
Participate in tourism fairs and events in Portugal and abroad
Identify opportunities for collaboration with delegations, governmental bodies, and international organizations;
Provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of delegation stays and events;
Implement proactive sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities;
Regularly analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry;
Oversee transient room sales, ensuring optimal occupancy and revenue;
Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on transient market segments;
Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and account management activities;
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies;
Proven 3 to 5 years’ experience sales in 4 and 5 starts Hotels, or as a touristic operator of excellence.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Demonstrated success in cultivating and managing corporate accounts.
Knowledge of the local and international business landscape.
Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory. Other languages will be valued.
Familiarity with sales and CRM tools.
